Executive producer, Dom Delaney, says:
“Director Joe Wright and I were approached by Women’s Aid to make this campaign advert for them. Joe contacted Keira Knightley who agreed to come on board, and he co-wrote the advert with creatives at Grey London.
“Due to the violent nature of the content, it generated considerable controversy and was banned from television. It’s still seen as controversial today, but was extremely successful in raising awareness of the charity.”
