Bash & Jamaal
Bashan Aquart joined AKA as Creative Director in 2011. Heading up the creative team, he delivers our creative vision across all accounts, while Jamaal Parham oversees and implements the creative, strategic and logistical elements fundamental to producing TV campaigns and video content for their clients. During his time with AKA, Bashan has worked with a diverse range of artists and clients to develop and design visual identities for musicals, plays and theatre organisations. His independent work shows a more multidisciplinary range in design, and includes fashion, packaging, TV and Environmental.
Bashan’s work has been featured in design publications such as Print, STEP, Communication Arts and Art Directors Annual. Jamaal spent 7 years as a Sr. Editor at several production and post-production houses in New York, Los Angeles and London. He has worked with a wide range of clients, including music icons like Beyoncé, TV on the Radio and LCD Soundsystem and brands like Pepsi, JCPenny, Jose Cuervo and Subway. They will be working together on projects for Studio Sixty Billion.
